Well, These pictures are all out of order. Teddy had a fun little birthday. He has been sick for the last week, but was feeling pretty good on his birthday. He was able to eat a little bit of breakfast, unlike the past couple of days.
We of course then took his 12 month pictures.
Then he got a haircut. I forgot to take an after picture, but you can just see it in the next few pictures. He kept the top long, but got rid of the craziness on the sides. Now he has a hipster haircut like his dad.
Here is his birthday cake. Not quite as fancy as Oliver's was, but it still tasted pretty good. And I got to use up all that leftover frosting and fondant that I froze from Oliver's party.
For his birthday, he got substantially less presents than Oliver did for his first birthday party. But this was his present from Uncle Joe. A food set. And he loves it.
We only had a few family members over.
He thought the frosting was fun to touch. And he thought the candle burning was really cool. And we think he might have blown out the candle, because no one else blew and it went out.
He liked the cake.
And after everyone left he started to feel sick again. Not a fun way to end your birthday. But we were happy that he felt good for most of it.
Also here was Eric's face paint from the day before Halloween at work. He won a fleece blanket for his cool face paint.
This year we were successful at doing a family themed costume. Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too! Oliver was the one who choose that Debbie should be Rabbit and Eric should be Eeyore. We pulled it off pretty well.
Teddy has Pooh bear was pretty cute. When you see him from the top he just looked like a little bear. And to top it off, Pooh Bear is one of Teddy's many nicknames. That is actually what inspired the costume. And we already had the Tigger outfit.
Here is the candy stash. The kids got tired so we had to cut the night short. But they still got a ton of candy. And mostly only good stuff.
