Since the redwoods is very near Crescent City, CA, we went over to the beach and saw some seals and a lighthouse. Oliver begged and begged to play in the sand but since we didn't have much time, he didn't get to play much. He also got very upset when we found out the light house is closed for tours until April. Only a few days later. We also toured a little city called Bandon that had art made out of trash, a candy store full of samples, and we ate fish and chips on the bay. It was also the day that we planned to go see tidepools and lots of seals. And it turned out to be the only day of our trip with bad weather. The waves were high tide and the rain and fog were pretty thick. So Oliver didn't get to play on the beach like we had planned and although we could see the many seals, we couldn't see them clearly.
We stayed at Brandon's house for Easter and he gave us a tour of Oregon campus. Oliver loved the O since his name starts with an O.
