Time to show off my kitchen remodel. It took us (me) about a month to do. My neighbor, Ryck, came over ready to help me tear out the tile floor, so I forgot to get before pictures. Which means the before pictures are from when we bought the house and during the project. Originally it was the oak cabinets which were dark, and cracked tile in the kitchen with carpet in the dining room. Eric and I put in vinyl plank flooring and I painted the cabinets pure white using shellac primer and Benjamin Moore Advance paint. My friend Lyndsey Findlay came over and helped me do the white subway tile backsplash. I got the hardware off of Amazon. Now the kitchen is bright, clean and feels so nice. And now i like the countertops because they really look like butcher board instead of just another clashing wood. The entire project cost about $800. Not bad for a whole new kitchen. We are very pleased with the result.
Special thanks to Ryck Astle for all your demolition help and for letting me borrow so many tools. It wouldn't have been possible without you.
