Christmas Presents

Eric couldn't wait for Christmas for Oliver to open his presents. He has been dunking everything in everything and we knew he would love his new present that came in the mail yesterday. Here is proof that he loves his new hoop. This is all he does now.

Land Party

We had a hot dog roast at the farm. Hopefully this week my parents will get a log delivery date, which means that building can actually begin.
That is one cute baby.

Best friends.

Um, did someone say crazy hair?
Oliver's first real ride on a horsey.

Master bonfire builder.

What a shot!
This donkey got a name change. He is now Eeyore.
And Eric got a little ride on Monty too.

David got hit with the frizbee and got an immediate welt to prove it.
There are two more new blogs after this- don't forget to check them out!

Halloween Pictures

Here are those Halloween pictures that I have meant to put up here. But first, a picture of Oliver's personal fort that he loves. Full of pillows so it is comfortable enough to lay on and fall on.

Dad was a bum and mom was a lady in pjs.
Summer was a gypsy and Aurelia a nerd. When we got home from trunk or treat, the line was crazy big to get candy. Probably 200 people in line and more flowing down the street. In 1 hr and 45 minutes we had a little more than 1000 trick or treaters.

 Jessica was prom queen.
 Eric was The Riddler.
 David was death.

I was Joker and Oliver was Batman.
I thought Eric looked pretty good with orange hair.
Victoria was Cleopatra. Also, please notice our homemade Halloween decorations from recycled bottles.

 Paige was a cave woman.
I never figured out what Mary was, but she looked cute as usual.
 Stephen and Sage were ghosts.

Mom really wanted me to get a picture of Keith's costume. Only thing was that it wasn't a costume. Just the result of falling off a roof and breaking his back.
The next day I let Oliver play in his candy. The night before he was going crazy playing in everyone's candy that was scattered on the floor. It was like in Duck Tales where he would swim in the money. Plus he was a little wired from the lollipop that he ate faster than a lightning bolt. Sadly for him, this was the last he saw of his candy because Eric and I are thoroughly enjoying it.

Oliver likes when I do the laundry.
Our birds that pass our yard almost on a daily basis. You can almost always find them at the lake that is about a block and a half away.
These were our decorations. Not too fancy, but at least we did something.
And this is the crazy photo that I got of Oliver that just makes me laugh.

Karaoke Night

We had a little Karaoke night where we all got into it pretty good. We even got mom and dad to participate and got a few videos of them. We all got in there too, but it was extra fun to have mom and dad do it.

Still summertime, right?

It has been confusing hearing on Facebook and blogs about the change in weather, snow, and cool air. Here it is still in the 80's and fabulous. It is like the ideal summer temperature. It is nice to know that it will continue to stay comfortable for a while longer. To celebrate the warm weather we try to go to the beach once or twice a week since it is only 12 minutes from our house. Oliver has become quite the beach baby and loves the water and sand. We also are loving that with going to the beach more often, we see more wildlife. We saw a starfish a few weeks ago, see jellyfish almost every time that we go (such as the blob looking one below), and yesterday we saw a new kind of jellyfish. It was hard to keep Oliver away because it looked somewhat like a ball. Also, each time that we go to the beach, we do a little bit of missionary work by writing on the chalkboard. Hopefully it will intrigue at least one person to look up mormon.org.
