Broken elbow

Teddy enjoying a lollipop.

Oliver enjoying our porch chairs that I fixed up.
Both boys excited about Star Wars things at Walmart.
Oliver showing off his cute new Spiderman shoes and hurt arm.
Teddy exploring at the Dr. visit.
I took Oliver in because I wanted to make sure it wasn't broken. Good thing I did. He has broken his elbow in two spots!
The first cast he got was ridiculous. I'm not sure the dr had ever done a wrap before! But then the specialist came in and gave him a much better one.

Antelope island With Wendy and Family

Although I usually invite Wendy up with an ulterior motive (he hem, to use her truck), we usually do something fun to make it worth it. Today, when the whole family came up, after eating, picking up wood pallets, and setting up the trampoline, we went over to Antelope Island. None of them had ever been there before. Oliver remembered going last summer and acted like a little tour guide, telling them everything they were going to see. It was super cute. And Teddy thought the place was pretty cool. Every time the camera came out he would say cheese and give a big grin. It looks like I didn't really get any pictures of Wendy's family. They were taking a lot with their camera, so I guess I just didn't think about it. Maybe they will make a blog post.

If you are wondering about Oliver's arm, well the third day of having his new bike, he turned a corner and fell off and sprained his arm. Poor little guy. It is all bruised and he just keeps it by his side when he runs. Poor kid.

Also, it was so cute because Oliver and Ruthie were little buddies. They went exploring all over the place together and just played together the entire time on the island. Oliver just telling her about little things and playing games together. The picture of Ruthie and Teddy was pretty cute. We were leaving the farm and had walked about 50 feet away when we looked back and Teddy was still by the fake roping cows, eating rocks. Ruthie ran back and grabbed his hand and ran back with him. Since he still can't run super well, it was really cute because he was struggling to keep up, but she didn't want to leave him behind.

Portland Zoo and hotel

The last day of our trip we went to the Portland Zoo. It was awesome. So much space for the animals. By this point in time Oliver was finally getting tired of asking if we were going to FL yet. And about half way through Oliver finally started to enjoy the zoo. Teddy liked to eat sand. Oliver never did that. Teddy likes to eat chalk too. You may be wondering why he always has a pacifier in his mouth. That is because if he didn't have it in, he was crying. He is definitely our cryer.

If you were to ask Oliver what his favorite parts of the trip were though, he would probably say our new homes. Meaning the two hotels that we stayed at. The first hotel has a hot springs pool. It was boiling hot and since Oliver doesn't like even warm water, he wouldn't get in, but Teddy liked it. His favorite was the "cold" pool at the hotel in Portland. There was a puddle jumper floatie there and Oliver put it on and went to town! He loved it and swam all over the place. It was so cute and made me so proud. Teddy doesn't do so well in anything but hot water, so he only lasted a little while before he had to move to a hot bath.
After the Zoo we went to the huge Powells book store. It was pretty awesome so see a whole block of books. We only saw the children's section and saw only a portion after an hour. We could have stayed all day. We then went to Voodoo Donuts and each got a special donut treat.
When we got home, Carson (Oliver's cousin his age) brought over his bike and gave it to Oliver. It is really awesome because Oliver begs to go on bike rides all day.  It is the first rideable toy that has made him want to be outside all the time. Teddy begs to go on stroller rides all day, so it is a good combination.
